Our Story

After working for several years on organic farms while in college in North Carolina, I’ve decided to expand the growing operations of our family farm, Wild Carrot Farm, and offer Community Supported Agriculture shares to our dear friends of Mullan Nursery Company.

What is Community Supported Agriculture? A CSA consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a local farming operation where the farmer and the consumers share the risks and benefits of food production. Members agree to purchase a season’s worth of produce or “share” before the harvest season begins.

During the growing season (June 2nd-October 27th) CSA members receive a weekly share of the farm’s freshest, pesticide-free produce. Members benefit by knowing the farmer who grows their food, by supporting local agriculture, and by receiving the highest quality produce at an affordable price.

Participation in the CSA is on a first come, first serve basis meaning the sooner you sign up, the sooner your spot is secured for the growing season
